Database tuning describes optimization and homogenization activities related to the performance of a database. These activities go hand in hand with query tuning, but refer more specifically to the configuration of the database files, the database management system (DBMS), and the operating system and hardware the DBMS runs on.

We work with clients to resolve performance issues related to a database. These assignments are typically short, but are underpinned by a deep understanding of the database architecture and add significant value by improving database and system performance.
