Previous experience in customer support, computer operations, system administration, or another related area. |

| Job skills and Responsibilities |
|
Has an overall understanding of Information technology as used in data center environment.
|
|
Familiarity with an operating system and its commands/utilities at user level, can edit files, issue commands, and find users home directories navigate through the file system and should be comfortable with I/O redirection
|
|
Familiarity with concepts of OS hardening, security configuration (both at host and network layer) using the native OS tools and Utilities |
|
Familiarity with security products like Checkpoint firewall, Cisco PIX, Snort, Real secure IDS, IPS, ISS Scanners, Trust Access control, Unicenter |
|
Good understanding of network tools like packet sniffers, port scanners, and password crackers |
|
Familiarity with networked/distributed computing environment concepts, for example, Configuration of network services or administer remote access service, add a database link.
|
|
Proven skill set on penetration testing, Vulnerability testing, ethical hacking with proof of concept |
|
Good understanding of best practices and standards for security policies, procedures followed in banking and financial organizations, global IT companies |
|
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining simple procedures in writing or verbally |
